This diagram explains some of the terminology you will see in the following screenshots. Each Page consists of content Blocks, while each Block may have a series of Files attached.

Page-level definitions. The Title, for example, will show up as hypertext links in menus.

Most actual content is written in Blocks. Think of a Block like a paragraph.

Publicist supports a variety of File types, including .jpg, .gif, .png, .swf, .pdf, .doc, .mp3, and others. Basic editing controls such as resizing, rotating, and watermarking are available for image Files.

As a user of Publicist, you have full control over the identity and contact information of your website.

You may assign individual passwords so that more than one person can manage website content.

Publicist users will generally not interact with the 'Skin' screen. Designers and developers, however, will appreciate the integrated use of color palettes and other streamlined architectural decisions.
